Gulf Coast Village appoints Jackie Fair as administrator for Palmview assisted living and memory support residences

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (Aug. 22, 2019) – Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral’s premier Continuing Care Retirement Community, has hired seasoned health care leader Jackie Fair as administrator for Palmview, a 130,980-square-foot assisted living and memory care facility.

Palmview offers 80 assisted living and 48 memory support residences, and is part of Gulf Coast Village’s full continuum of care for adults over age 62. Gulf Coast Village features independent living, assisted living, specialized memory support, skilled nursing, home health and rehabilitation services.

Since opening in 2017, Palmview has gained a strong reputation across Southwest Florida for its mix of engaging opportunities that encourage an active lifestyle and enrich residents’ daily experiences.

As administrator, Fair will be responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of caring in which Palmview residents can embrace moments with purpose and joy, offering a greater sense of freedom and self-esteem.

Fair previously served as executive director with The LaSalle Group and was responsible for oversight of Autumn Leaves of Estero, a family-owned and operated assisted living memory care community. Prior positions include executive director for Brookdale Senior Living, executive director and senior resident care director for Emeritus Senior Living, and health and wellness director for Brookdale Senior Living.

Fair earned an associate degree from Lorain County Community College and became a Licensed Practical Nurse after completing her studies at Central School of Practical Nursing in Ohio. She is credentialed through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and has completed advanced training and education through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and Assisted Living Federation of America.
