Gulf Coast Village Welcomes New Campus Executive Director
Gulf Coast Village, Cape Coral’s only Life Plan Community and Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) announces Sarah Richard, as the new campus Executive Director. Richard is expected to transition into the role in January 2025.
With a decade of experience in social work and over five years of dedicated service in long-term care, Richard has established herself as a compassionate and skilled professional in the senior living industry. For the past three years, she has served as the administrator at The Preserve, a VOANS sister community in Fort Myers, where her leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. She is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and CORE-certified Assisted Living Facility Administrator in the state of Florida. These credentials reflect her commitment to delivering exceptional care and operational excellence.

Richard was born and raised in Fort Myers and has one son who is presently serving in the U.S. Navy. Her favorite activities outside of work are reading and traveling.
